October 8th - HBRMS Staff

 Snake Road Outdoor Education Program

This year, both the 6th and 7th grade classes had the opportunity to adventure to Snake Road for a day trip. Our students had the freedom to escape the stresses of everyday life and disconnect from technology for a day. The outdoor activities included team building, problem solving, high ropes courses, rock climbing, and zip-lining. The Snake Road Outdoor Education program provides a powerful team building experience which allows our students to build relationships, challenge themselves, build confidence, and gain independence. This is my favorite field trip of the year, because it allows me to build relationships with my students and support them when needed. I am always amazed by our students GRIT. I would like to thank all of our wonderful volunteers that helped chaperone the sixth and seventh grade trips this year. It would not have been possible without you! Can’t wait till next year!
